This is my first post here, but I've been an affiliate in this business for many years & still am. Kia was trying to get to me as a player also, but I didn't return her calls because I wasn't interested in being schmoozed.
I've played this software extensively & love it. I don't know who you all get to "test" it, but it's legit, trust me. I've been around long enough to know.
As far as Grand Prive, get over it already. In the real world, businesses go under all the time without paying their debts. Some of them regroup & restart, and usually their vendors will go with them again. Gambling affiliates are not exempt from the same business risks that real world businesses face, and if real world businesses were as nasty & vengeful as gambling affiliates are, there'd be a lot of libel lawsuits going on in the courts.
I can't wait for any of the BetOnSoft casinos to get their affiliate programs going, and please, by all means, continue to boycott them because that'll mean more biz for me!! ;D
Thank you, I will! Just for the record, I never withdrew my affiliate money. It always went back into the casino. I couldn't see myself spending money that others lost. I felt greedy doing so. The affiliate world is filled with it.....
ok, JustCruiziin.... how did you happen upon this thread now?
I've been coming here & reading for months, finally registering a username in the last couple of weeks. I follow many threads & topics here. I don't plan to post much, though.
What does that mean?
If you couldn't see yourself spending money that others lost, and it made you feel greedy, then why in the world were you an affiliate in the first place?
You said you never withdrew affiliate earnings, as you couldn't see yourself spending money others lost. So did you give the money back to the players? What do you mean it went back into the casino because you felt too bad to spend it. Certainly you don't mean that you gambled it back to the casino, do you?
I wonder why you relate greed to webmasters that market/promote online gambling? I guess if we promoted Viagra or RX it wouldn't be greed then?
Hmm.. I don't get it.
I wouldn't be happy if I didn't get paid when I won, but I do...so why should I complain? I'm not a rah rah Grand Prive player either. My favorite software was Microgaming but we can't play there anymore. It sucks....I used to like RTG but they're getting boring so I wanted something different. I even told Kia that GP needs to add more exciting games as I'm already getting bored with them. I won't exclusively play at GP but I know they'll pay me and I'm not worried. Now that I have a personal connection, I even feel much better. Again, I did give her an earful about the affiliate issue and I was very upset that they did that ( well, her company anyway ) and I told her they really need to do SOMETHING to make it up to the affiliates. However, she is giving me personalized service which is something an affiliate could never do. I know I've made affiliates a lot of money just from my play alone and not once was I thanked for it.The thread will not be removed. I just do not agree with doing that.
Even though the player is bashing affiliates, it is quite clear that he is shilling for the casino to anyone paying attention.
It is abundantly clear to most players that all they need to do is google Grand Prive and their casinos to find out how fraudlent they are. It is simply not worth it to any player with money to put their cash into ANY Grand Prive casino.
Affiliates are not greed mongers (majority), but help to ensure players are treated rightfully. This is just an untruth designed to make Grand Prive feel better about themselves.
Players, though, have been equally lambasted by this group. Be warned, players. Just because 1 player 'appears' happy does not take away from the fact that many, many players are NOT happy.
I gave it away to players on my site and played with it...
I'm not trying to be greedy or anythinkg like that, but I'll believe you are a philanthropic high roller and not just a shiller when you send $1000 to my paypal account >
happened to agree with Rick although I can't see his post anymore. Look at all the attention that is here. I think we're getting soaked for BRANDING and playing right into their hands - which is meanwhile detracting from constructive threads around here that are getting buried. (my opinion)
I met with Kia yesterday. She flew to New York and had dinner with me. She is very much so real. I used to be an affiliate but I am a VIP player with many online and land based casinos. I was on a list and she contacted me. I, too, thought it was a scam and was very leary. However, she called me and we had a nice chat. When she actually met me at my favorite land based casino, I was shocked at how wonderful she was. She was genuine and really cared about me as a player. I also reamed her about the affiliate shaft as well. She wholeheartedly feels badly for what happened, however, it was not her fault and they HAD to close the program. They are implementing another one but it hasn't launched yet. She said all the affiliates were paid so if you weren't, you should contact her. Many of the old affiliates are asking to be put on the new program and she said she understands why you guys are upset. You made a lot of money with Grand Prive. I know they are blacklisted by many but their old managers made a decision to switch software providers because Microgaming gave them no flexibility. They actually designed many of the games in the Microgaming suite but got no credit for it because that was the contract made with them. The new software will allow them to be flexible. She gave me a $300 chip, spent over $250 on dinner and drinks and was absolutely charming. Before you diss her, you should give her a chance. I was an affiliate with Grand Prive, and you should realize that times change and things happen. So I lost my players....it's not the end of the world. If I'm a good affiliate I'll just get more.
Pinababy, if you knew who I was, you wouldn't call me that.....I'll email you later girl~ LOL
