The revenue is not net yet you have to pay taxes so you may almost double your expectations before will face the sad truth.

You need to have excellent sites, good keyword traffic and know which casinos to promote and which not. If a programs goes bust you do not want to be dragged down with them.

Besides if you have to rely on a few good players for steady monthly amounts think again many players switch to other casinos all the time.

Next you need to adhere white hat tactics for seo - to avoid being thrown out from Search engines results - which can take a long time before you ever see good results.

Nowadays you need far more than 100 organic search clicks per day to support a living (unless you have the best ones).

If you are alone this may well be quite a challenge !

Good point!
I saw that screenshot of you spinning at $250 a pop... have you visited my site recently? :p

KK

LOL...I visited it just a little while ago, I was looking for some good content to copy... :p

Just kidding bro, I was checking out some of the bonuses you have on offer there, trying to find a new one that I haven't used yet! That's getting harder and harder to do though since I've damn near signed up at most all of them. ;D

Wow, thanks for the great replies. So in summary, what's needed to suceed here is time, patience and determination.

Has anyone here had success with paid traffic?

This is a really good thread.
I usually avoid the threads about how much you make, but in this case there is a lot of really good info here.

I didn't put in how much I make... I don't even like telling the tax man.
But I will say this... I make a good living, better than most.

Paid traffic... Don't waste your money.
I know one guy making money off paid traffic... the only thing is, he is the one selling it.

LOL... No you wouldn't. ;D

I don't know about the Godfather thing, but I sure feel like the online affiliate Grandpa sometimes (well actually I am a grandpa).. but you know what I mean. I been at this a long time.

The one thing about online gambling that I love beyond everything.. even the money, is the FREEDOM.

I am my own boss, I answer to NO ONE... EVER.

There are very few ways in life that you can set yourself up to really truly be your own boss and live your life the way you want, this is one of them. But like my Grandma used to say.. The good things in life never come easy.

That's also the very thing that I love most about it too...there is absolutely no substitute for being your own boss for sure!

Actually, I never considered affiliate business as the only one income source :) I have a good job, but always wanted to try to get more money (yes, I'm greedy :p)
Well, maybe that's why I still have no decent results...

Ahh greed... the profit killer.

I have a theory about Greed and casino affiliates.

I believe that players can spot a greedy aff site a mile away.

If your visitors believe that all you want is their money, they run.
Let me stress this.... If your visitors believe that all you want is their money, they run.

Visitors to your site should think and be shown over and over again that your primary concern is THEIR welfare.
You can care about money, and show the players/visitors you care about money, but it should NEVER be your main concern.

If you put the players welfare and concerns before ALL, you will see success as an affiliate in this business..... Of course some of the casinos might learn to hate you... But casinos don't pay the bills.... The Players do.

For me it was very hard at the beginning, but now I make a decent income out of the affiliate business.

I still have a big problem with casino affiliation though, because I earn more from poker, betting and even forex than I do from online casinos. I think I'm missing something in this field...

I agree 100% lotso. I try to make my reviews as objective as possible. I don't care if it's my favorite program I always try to give the potential player realistic info. One thing that's important to me is projecting online caisnos as a form of entertainment and not a "money Making" scheme. So the higher games or brands with the higher payouts have more "entertainment value".

Besides, the experience is what the player ultimately is left with. They may or may not win, but the experience they walk away with it what matters.

Just my philosophy..

I cant answer cause my income is not on the list.

I PAY THEM!

I send players and they bill me!!

How?

1. Negative Carryover
2. Retroactive terms
3. Reductions in % over life of player
4. Non payments
5. Theft of player base
6. Shaving
7 Everything else that rips into the bottom line.

Conclusion - I pay the programs to advertise for them and sit at home and jerk off watching my money get spent at Affiliate conferences on BOOZE, and to boot - I get to see all the pictures on FACEBOOK (phonies with a GOD complex)
