I found that same email address that's in the slotpower.com registration info. now, is also listed in an old post at winnersonline for Avi Goldman (be the dealer / windows casino).

I don't know if this is any connection, but it's the 9th post down.

WINNERonline Gambling Discussion - http://www.bethedealer.com ?

Remember this, maybe that is part of the connection you mention above regarding "Windows Casino"....

"As posted at GPWA and AGD things at Absolute Slots are definitely NOT business as usual. Whats happened is two ROGUE operators from Hungary (Former Windows Casino Owners, Marc and Robert) have decided to attempt an affiliate theft"....

That was one LONG read...

Firstly: Vanguard and Slot Power are NOT (100% NOT) owned by CAP, Lou, or Warren. I know this for sure.

Secondly: Vladi is correct. All affiliates must remove their links immediately if this issue upsets them. That is the only way to fight it. Redirect and new affiliate accounts are easy to come by. Nobody can fight them every step of the way if they are going to redirect traffic.

Thirdly: Let's give CWC / Martyn a chance to resolve this before we take this thread in 100 different directions :) They will resolve this the way we would expect them to. Jonathan and Martyn are both great people and CWC has long been the most reputable (IMO) RTG Casino affy program.

Domain Change: Not sure what is going on there. It's interesting to say the least.

URLs: I see KK's urls going to Vanguard properly. I also see SlotPower going to the right url now.

I'm guessing this will play out from a CWC perspective very soon. Thanks for being on top of this Martyn.

Whatever is going on, it has been going on for a long time and they knew - they redirected the traffic so they had to know. They should have made a statement instead of leaving everyone hanging.

For that reason I am not going to put them back.

Wow...

The "Crap at CAP" with Lou Warren and Avi, just seems to keep giving and giving to the affiliate community.

The bottom line is that Lou, Warren annd Avi KNOW how to make money in this business... And as long as they are able to fill those casino bank accounts with cash money, there will be (a lot) of casinos that are willing to work with them, even if it is in the shadows.

That is the nature of the beast we work with.

This is where we stand right now.

We have been in contact with the affiliate involved and ordered that they cease and desist with this activity in promoting CWC brands. In addition we have closed the affiliate account in question.

I will keep you informed of any further developments

Cheers,

M

Martyn, you rock. :) That really does justice to the many affys who don't know about this and don't read here. Thank you!

A lot of info here to sift through. Thanks Dom and BS. I still have my thoughts on it. There is no limits what some will do for money and lotso is correct. That is the unfortunate backlash.

Can you explain what connection there is between Lou and Warren and CAP and Avi and Slotpower redirecting our traffic?

Dear First Gaming Partner Affiliate,

Unfortunately the Rival gaming platform hasn't lived up to our expectations over the past few months.
Because of continued and prolonged processing problems you might have seen your conversion ratios
and player values erode. We had no other option, but to drop Rival. We sincerely hope that Rival will
continue honoring their affiliate commitments as they have done in the past. Your players will be able
to continue playing on the sytem and thus you will continue receiving checks from them. However
we ask you not to send further traffic to our front page.

We wish you continued success in your affiliate endeavors.

Best regards,
First Gaming Partners Team

What a mess!
What does this now mean?
Players keep playing and the aff program is closed? - Deja vu!

Your players will be able
to continue playing on the sytem and thus you will continue receiving checks from them.

Where can affiliates now see stats from the players they sent?

This is really a mess!
Oh and we still dont know now who they owners are/were.......

Thanks for posting that Playcasino1. Wow... so sudden. I am not impressed. I can't believe they did this the way they did. Redirecting traffic first to Manhatten Slots, not telling us before doing this stuff, and not leaving any contact info to discuss anything with them. Obviously they didn't think it was important to post and respond to the threads in any of the forums.

Yes we do.. it was posted awhile back when CAP was angry for the takeover of Absolute Slots. Owners, from Google's own results:
